About the Association

The Syrian Canadian Business association is non-profit Association established in Damascus, whose activities cover all territories of the Syrian Arab republic. The Association shall support endeavors of the concerned authorities to enhance the level of economic exchange between Syria and Canada thereof. The Association Purposes are:
1. To contribute in improving and enhancing joint commercial, economic and cultural relations between Syria and Canadian businessmen.
2. To strengthen and activating joint relations and ties between Syria and Canada.
3. To undertake to reduce dual costumes and taxes of exchanged goods between Syria and Canada.
4. To encourage joint capitals that serve developmental and investment purposes in both Syria and Canada.
5. To support educational fields and higher education, and exchange expertise between Syria and Canada.
6. To activate relations of humanitarian organizations between Syria and Canada.
7. To organize the exchange of visits and trade delegations between Syria and Canada.

The Association Tools of Operations:
• Seminars, lectures, meeting, exchange of view and expertise.
• The Association shall focus on dialogue, guidance, and discussions to activate economic endeavor between Syria and Canada.
• Holding exhibitions, and encouraging participation in such activities anywhere in both Syria and Canada.
• Organizing cultural and social activities between businessmen in Syria and Canada.
• To provide businessmen and researchers with the necessary initial information pertaining to new investments in both countries, exchange visits and orgize delegation visits.
• To cooperate, liaise, and network with the concerned authoritires in Syria and Canada for development and economic purposes in both countries.
• To encourage and exchange experience, scientific research and grants between Syria and Canada universities.

35000 SP composed of 25000 SP as Subscription fee, and 10000 SP as an annual subscription fee.
