Members of the Syrian – Canadian, Lebanese-Canadian and Jordanian - Canadian Businessmen Associations, Dear Guests, First of all, let me, personally, and on behalf of the members of our Association, welcome you and express my high appreciation of your visit as it contributes to enhancing bonds of friendship and economical ties between Syria and Canada.
Today, we have the pleasure to receive prominent figures from the Canadian economic sector, and hope that this visit enables our guests to have a deeper insight into the Syrian business sector and discuss with some Syrian businessmen issues connected with mutual economic interests. They may exchange ideas related to the present financial and economical crisis that currently storms our world, hoping that it would not reflect negatively on activating the economic cooperation between our two countries. Also, we do hope that the Memorandum of Understanding that would be signed between the Syrian and Canadian sides of the Association would contribute to increase the mutual visits of delegations to sense more opportunities in the two countries, and follow up the projects that would be agreed upon between both Associations.
Ladies and gentlemen Let me again, together with members of the SYCAB, welcome you and hope you enjoy your stay in Syria.
